Under the West Texas Moon

Romantic bronze sculpture of young lady holding a large cowgirl hat, wearing a skirt and cowgirl boots with tops sculpted with a desert scene, by John Bennett.

I had a model for this piece. She was a barrel racer. I love the romantic feel of it. The little moon phase icons on the base and the west texas scene on her boots are polished back to the bronze underneath the chemical patina.
