A native Texan, Delia received an education in Art History and Commercial Art at Texas Tech University. From there, she worked for publishing, advertising, and fashion design firms in Dallas. She has studied painting in various mediums with major artists across the country and has taught classes herself in Santa Fe and also while living in Africa as a missionary with her husband Don. Delia has been represented by national art galleries in Santa Fe, Dallas, Delaware, Maine, Ohio, and Connecticut, and has illustrated 2 books, “He Called Them by Name” and “Tall Tale”. Delia was presented People’s choice award at the Gillespie county art show in 2010.
In addition to Texas, Delia has lived and painted in New Mexico, New England, and Africa. She now lives and creates her exquisite artwork from her studio and home in Horseshoe Bay, Texas. Her oil, acrylic, pastel and watercolor paintings include still lifes, landscapes, and commissioned portraits.
